DENVER — In a thrilling interleague clash Friday night, the Colorado Rockies stunned the New York Yankees 3-2 at Coors Field, overcoming Aaron Judge’s 17th home run of the season to secure a rare and hard-fought victory. Ryan McMahon emerged as the hero, delivering the go-ahead RBI in the eighth inning, marking a memorable moment in his season.
Judge continued his torrid pace, launching a solo homer in the sixth inning — a towering blast to center field that briefly put the Yankees ahead 2-1. The home run was his 17th of the year and further cemented his status as one of MLB’s most dangerous power hitters.
