Lamb, who has been volunteering tirelessly with local emergency relief teams, shared a harrowing moment that has resonated across the nation.
“When I got out of the car and saw the devastation in the area, I saw a little girl sitting next to the bodies of her family and crying,” Lamb recounted. “I went up to her and knelt beside her. She was trembling, holding onto a soaked teddy bear, and she didn’t say a word. I just put my arm around her and told her she’s not alone.”
