SADLY: Antonio Brown has been arrested and charge for attempted murder with…

Former NFL star Antonio Brown is facing a serious legal challenge after being charged with attempted murder in Miami-Dade County. The charge stems from a shooting incident that occurred on May 16, 2025, outside a celebrity boxing event in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami.

According to the arrest warrant issued on June 12, Brown allegedly became involved in a physical altercation during the event. Witnesses and surveillance footage suggest that Brown punched another individual, seized a firearm from a security officer, and fired two shots, possibly grazing the victim. Although no weapon was found on Brown at the time of his initial detention, evidence recovered from the scene, including shell casings and a gun holster, corroborated the claims. The victim later identified Brown as the shooter .

Brown, 36, has denied the allegations, asserting that he was attacked during an attempted robbery and that he blacked out due to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition linked to head trauma in football. He claims that he was briefly detained but later released after providing his account to law enforcement .

The warrant issued for Brown’s arrest includes a $10,000 bond and stipulates house arrest pending trial. As of now, authorities have not taken Brown into custody, and attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful .

This incident adds to a series of legal troubles for Brown, who has faced multiple allegations since retiring from the NFL in 2021. His career, once marked by on-field excellence, has been overshadowed by controversies, including allegations of sexual assault, domestic violence, and unpaid debts .

The legal proceedings are ongoing, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The public awaits further developments as the case progresses through the legal system.
