Arrest Warrant Issued Today for Duke Blue Devils Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jon Scheyer Over Alleged Domestic Incident
An arrest warrant was issued earlier today for Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball head coach Jon Scheyer in connection with an alleged domestic incident that reportedly occurred late last night at a private residence in Durham.
According to a preliminary statement released by the Durham Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call just after 11:45 p.m. on Friday evening. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement reportedly encountered an emotionally distressed woman who identified herself as a close associate of Scheyer. Initial reports suggest that the alleged victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. She has since been cooperating with authorities.
